Country Collaborations in Journal of Experimental Analysis of Behavior

When examining collaborative efforts in the Journal of Experimental Analysis of Behavior, two chord diagrams tell an interesting story. In the one spanning 1960-1969, you’ll see not many international collaborations. Probably due to the limitations of that era in tech and language barriers. But shift to the 2010-2019 diagram, and it’s a different story. There’s a bunch of lines crisscrossing all over, showing lots of collaborations happening. This change is thanks to technology making it easier to connect and share, and language barriers becoming less of an issue. These diagrams show how the journal has become a global hub for sharing ideas in behavioral analysis over time.
